Day 1 Cairns to Cooktown
Pickup from most Cairns accommodation, departing Cairns early for Cooktown, over the Bloomfield range (track conditions permitting) passing Cape Tribulation Arriving in Cooktown to explore this historic port.  Camping over night in Cooktown (LD)

Day 2 Cooktown to Lakefield
Today you travel via Battlecamp Range, pioneer cattle stations and the old coach road drop by historic Old Laura Station and arrive at the vast Lakefield National Park to view an  array of wild life Lakefield has to offer. Camping overnight in the National Park (BD)

Day 3  Musgrave, Coen, Archer River
Leave the wonders of Lakefield behind passing the parks plentiful billabongs, waterholes and creeks as you travel to Musgrave Station take the time out to look at the stations collection of old photos of the area. Visit the once vibrant gold rush town of Coen, before reaching our overnight stop at the Archer River.(BLD)

Day 4 Weipa
Today travel north west through Mungkan Kaanju National Park accross Piccaninny Plains and boundless savannah to Weipa on the Gulf of Capentaria, viewing various wildlife and birdlife. Overnight in Weipa. Lunch at own cost. (BD)

Day 5 Wenlock River, Moreton Station
Today you have a choice of joining a tour of the Bauxite mine, or an  Eco Boat tour  (optional, own expense), with the Guld of Carpentaria behind you, we then pass through huge cattle runs to arrive at the fast flowing Wenlock River. Overnight camp at Moreton Telegraph station. Here you have laundry facilities. (BLD)

Day 6 Old Telegraph Track  to Twin Falls
Today we make our way through Heathland reserve on our way to Twin Falls on the Elliot river were you can spend the afternoon swimming and exploring spectacular Indian Head Falls, Elliot Falls and Twin Falls. A beautiful area, the jewel of the Cape York Peninsular and your camp for tonight. (BLD)

Day 7 Twin Falls to Loyalty Beach / Cape York
Leave Twin Falls this morning feeling refreshed as you cross the Jardine River by cable ferry, a brief refueling stop at Bamaga and travel via Lockerbie to our base camp at Loyalty Beach Campground. (BLD)

Day 8 Loyalty Beach / Thursday Island and Horn Island
Early morning ferry through the islands of the Torres Strait to legendary "T.I."once homeport of the romantic pearl diver fleet, now "Capital"of the scattered islander communities between Australia and New Guinea. Maybe time for sightseeing, souvenir shopping. Thursday Island and Horn Island tours and Lunch in Included.(BLD)


Day 9 Cape York
Today is an unforgettable day of achievement, celebrate as you stand on the Northern tip of the Cape York peninsular, pass through dense rainforest and strolling along deserted pristine beaches and rocky headlands on the way. Visit the ruins of Somerset, (road conditions permitting) (BLD)

Day 10 Seisia, Commence Sea-Leg Barge Day- Cruise to Cairns
Today you must pack your bags and we’ll take you down to the wharf at Seisia where the focus of the day is as the  M.V Trinity Bay, unloads her load of Fuel, building materials, and all other essential supplies needed for these remote communities. At 80 meters and over 3000 tonnes the Trinity Beay is the largest cargo vessel servicing the straights and the only one to carry passengers. (BLD)

Day 11 Great Barrier Reef Marine Park
Time to relax and reflect on your Cape York Tour as you continue south passing the islands and sand keys of the Great Barrier Reef. (BLD)

Day 12 Cruise to Cairns
Arrive back in Cairns mid to late afternoon dependant on tides, winds and sea conditions. Unfortueately your tours ends.  Make your own way from boat to your accommodation. (B)
