Hartleys Crocodile Adventures Half Day Morning or Afternoon
Pickup from your hotel either morning or afternoon and travel 40 minutes north of Cairns to Hartley’s Crocodile adventure this is a great place to see crocodiles and local wildlife in a natural environment. You have over 2 kilometres of timber boardwalks and paths which will take you through woodlands and forest where you can see many species of our local fauna and flora.
You will be treated to educational and entertaining wildlife presentations which include snakes, cassowaries, koalas, crocodiles, quolls and much more. You can then take a boat cruise on the lagoon to see crocodiles and other wildlife and birds that live in this melaleuca wetland. Learn about the conservation and sustainable use of this crocodile farm.
Visit the Gondwana Gateway where you will learn about the evolution of the Australian wildlife. This is an Award-winning ecotourism accredited attraction that has been carefully created on a 10 hectare World Heritage location. Presentations throughout the day (set times) include crocodile feeding, snake show, crocodile attack show and a tour of the crocodile farm.
